From city lights to line dancing to hiking through incredible National Parks, the USA West Coast offers it all!

LA – The City of Dreams

Our journey began in the City of Angels, Los Angeles. With its glitzy landmarks and endless entertainment options, LA captured our hearts from the get-go. From strolling along the Hollywood Walk of Fame to hiking the Hollywood Hills to see the Hollywood sign, this city left us starstruck in every sense. We cycled in Santa Monica, soaked up the sun at Venice Beach, and savoured the sights from Griffith Observatory. LA truly lived up to its reputation as a city of dreams.

San Diego – Sun, Surf, and Bliss

Next stop – San Diego, a coastal paradise of sun-kissed beaches and laid-back vibes. This city stole the hearts of everyone on our trip. We relaxed at La Jolla beach, cruised the bay, went to a line dancing bar (I can’t even explain how much FUN this was!), and visited San Diego Zoo which is rated the #1 in the world!

Arizona & The Grand Canyon – Nature’s Masterpiece

Leaving the coast behind, our first stop in Arizona was an outback Jeep Adventure in Sedona! Think red rocks, 4×4 buggies, and the coolest scenery! Our next stop… you guessed it. The Grand Canyon. Words can hardly do justice to the breathtaking sight that unfolded before our eyes. After taking in the views from the edge of the canyon, we decided to hike down into it to fully grasp the grandness of Mother Nature.

Viva Las Vegas – Where the Party Never Ends

We traded natural wonders for bright city lights as we made our way to the entertainment capital of the world – Las Vegas. The glimmering cityscape, the extravagantly themed hotels, and the electric energy of the Strip were simply intoxicating. We had an EPIC time at a rooftop pool party, danced the night away at a nightclub that was throwing an after-party for Usher, tried our luck at the famous casinos, and caught a show from David Copperfield – the world’s most famous illusionist.

Yosemite National Park – You’ve Gotta See it to Believe it

Leaving the excitement of Vegas behind, we entered the enchanting realm of Yosemite National Park. As a hiking feen from the Blue Mountains in Australia, this was by far my favourite stop. No words will do justice to how beautiful Yosemite is! It genuinely looked UNREAL, like a green screen before our eyes. Hiking through its stunning landscapes, we were surrounded by towering waterfalls, ancient sequoias, and pristine wilderness. We also had the CUTEST accommodation at the Yosemite Bug, where we could walk along the lake, enjoy a meal in the lodge restaurant, or relax in the spa.

San Francisco – A City with Heart

Our final destination was the vibrant city of San Francisco. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge greeted us with its grandeur, and we explored neighbourhoods like Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, and Haight-Ashbury, each offering a unique charm. Taking a sunset Catamaran around the bay was an amazing experience, and the panoramic views from Alcatraz Island were a fascinating blend of history and beauty. We enjoyed final drinks at the many trendy bars across the city.
