Te Puia, home of the Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, spans over 70 hectares.
Here you’ll find mind-blowing natural wonders from bubbling mud pools to crystal hot springs and silica formations.
The Valley is also home to the most active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere: Pōhutu Geyser. It erupts up to twice an hour!
3. Cathedral Cove
It comes as no surprise that Cathedral Cove is a super popular attraction in New Zealand’s North Island.
