1. Explore Petra
Get lost in the magical city of Petra and channel your inner explorer. This place really is something special and is like nothing you’ll have ever seen before.
But it’s not all about the Treasury. While you’re here, don’t miss the hike up to the Monastery – it’s well worth the effort! Trust us 😉
When day turns to night, be sure to stick around. Petra by candlelight is a thing. And you’re not gonna want to miss it.
2. Float in the Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is world-famous for a reason.
Being a natural spa, the Dead Sea is 423 metres below sea level and you can float on the water with close to no effort. Ready to take that perfect pic for Insta? ✌️
3. Experience Wadi Rum
This desert landscape is a real gem in Jordan.
By day, ride through the desert by 4×4 and by camel. By night, go stargazing and settle in by the fire at a Bedouin desert camp. Bliss!
4. Eat alllll of the food in Israel
Falafel, hummus, shakshouka, pitta bread and loads of yummy sweets. Israel sure packs a punch when it comes to food.
Pay a visit to Carmel Market in Tel Aviv when you’re here (stocking everything from home-made cheese and locally-roasted coffee to fresh juices) and eat at one of the 400+ vegan-friendly kitchens. Talk about spoilt for choice!
5. Snorkel or dive in the Red Sea
The ‘Rose City’ of Petra and the orange sands of Wadi Rum not colourful enough for you? Then you might wanna check out what’s hiding underneath the water!
Pop on a snorkel and flippers and dive into the Red Sea to play hide and seek with some of the most brightly coloured marine life around.
6. Get amongst it in Tel Aviv
Chill out on the beach, top up your tan and challenge the locals to a game of matzot (think: beach tennis).
And when you’re not at the beach, hunt for souvenirs at Jaffa’s Flea Market then get ready to party the night away. From rooftop cafés to underground clubs and jazz bars, there’s nightlife here for everyone.
7. Soak up the views from the Mount of Olives
To the east of Jerusalem’s Old City is the Mount of Olives.
Among other biblical events, it’s said to be the site where Jesus ascended to heaven. The area remains a pilgrimage site today and you can head up for a great view of the Temple site.
