Five unmissable Pride festivals in Europe 🏳️🌈
1. Budapest, Hungary
When: 28 June
Budapest Pride Parade is turning 30 in 2025, making it a lit year to attend. The Hungarian capital has been an ally of LGBTQIA+ travellers since the 80s and its Pride festivities are the biggest in the country 💅
As well as showing your support at the Budapest Pride March on the 28 June, there’s a whole week of events to enjoy – think themed parties, LGBTQIA+-friendly comedy nights and costumed fun runs through the city’s beaut parks.

2. London, England
When: 5 July
London Pride is one of Europe’s OG Pride festivals and 2025 marks its 53rd year 🤯
It’s a truly iconic celebration and the biggest of its kind in the UK – with heaps of awesome events and, ofc, the vibrant Pride in London Parade.
Catch it as it winds its way from Oxford Circus to Whitehall, passing some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. Stages also pop up all around the area, hosting some truly epic performers – from RuPaul’s Drag Show winners to pop princesses 👑

3. Berlin, Germany
When: 26 July
Germany’s capital has one of the best nightlife scenes in Europe – so you can expect good things from its Pride festival. In Germany, Pride is also known as Christopher Street Day (more about that in the video below 👇).
Christopher Street Day has been celebrated in Berlin since 1979. Today, it’s a HUGE street parade that typically ends at one of Berlin’s most iconic landmarks – the Brandenburg Gate.
The entire city has main character energy throughout Pride month! Expect Berlin’s best LGBTQIA+ clubs to go all-out with themed parties. There’s also a canal boat parade on the Spree River, PLUS the Lesbian and Gay City Festival which features food stalls, live music and more 😍

4. Barcelona, Spain
When: July 19
Combine sunshine with inclusive vibes at Barcelona Pride. This vibrant celebration of love takes place throughout July. However, the city’s BIG Pride parade – which ends at the iconic Plaza España – will light up the streets on Saturday July 19 💃
There’s plenty of smaller events happening in the days leading up to the parade, too. Barcelona already has an incred LGBTQIA+-friendly nightlife scene – but it’s truly next level during Pride. 5. Amsterdam, The Netherlands
When: 2 and 3 August
The Dam’s Pride parade is extra spesh. Why? Cos it doesn’t take place on the streets but along the city’s ✨ iconic ✨ UNESCO World Heritage canals 😍
This year, the Canal Parade will be on 2 August – and you can expect dozens of boats decorated in rainbow colours to take part. Watch from one of the city’s famous bridges or grab a spot at a cafe along the canal path.
Amsterdam Gay Pride is also known for its amazing parties and, ofc, its closing Pride event in Dam Square on 3 August. It always has an electric atmosphere and a lit line up of Dutch and international DJs 🎶
