So, you’ve arrived in New York late one night, and you’ve got just 24 hours to explore “The Big Apple”.

Sounds stressful? Overwhelming? An impossible task? Not at all!

Read on for our action-packed and not-to-be-missed guide to this wild, wild city. (We’ve got this!)

7:30am: Rise and shine, #topdeckers! It’s time for an epic day. Quick shower, pack yo’ bags, and get ready to make the most of those daylight hours. First stop –  Levain Bakery on W 74th just off Broadway. There may be a queue, but don’t fret as this baby moves quickly. Safe to say you’ll have zero regrets once you have four of the most delectable cookies in your hot little hands. (You can thank us later).

9.30am: Hit the streets and munch down on one of those Levain cookies before you hit up Central Park. Roll in style, and cruise on a bike tour to capture a few #selfies at one of the most iconic parks in the world.

11.15am: Next, head south to the Rockefeller Centre. Grab your tickets, fire up those cameras, and in less than a minute after boarding the lift, you’ll be at the Top of the Rock!

12.00pm: Get those legs moving and continue the adventure along 7th Avenue towards Times Square for THAT super tourist-y ‘wow’ moment you’ve been waiting for.

12.30pm: Considering you’ve only got 24 hours in New York, take our words of wisdom and to eat on the go! A New York pizza slice or a hot dog is THE food of choice. TOP TIP: don’t pay more than $2 for a slice, or dog.

1.30pm: Exhausted yet? Surely not! Step on the “T” (New York’s underground railway) and head to Battery Park to cruise around the Statue of Liberty, whizzing past Ellis Island. Here, you’ve got an easy hour to sit back and relax. Be sure to look our for the Manhattan skyline on our way back to the mainland. B-e-a-u-tiful!

Statue of Liberty

3.15pm: Take some time to pay homage to the 9/11 Museum, an essential part of modern history. Take your time to explore, and be sure to allow for at least an hour, or two.

5.45pm: Considering we haven’t had a decent sit-down feed all day, roll on over to Little Italy or Chinatown to sample the local delicacies. Dig in, and take your pick of ALL the food options.

8.00pm: Annnnd we’re back up Broadway, just in time for a show! With plenty to see all year round, guaranteed there will be something to take your fancy. BTW: you’re in the home of theatre, so don’t miss this opportunity for what might be the best show of your life. Seriously.

11.00pm: Phew, what a day! No doubt you wet yourself laughing at The Book of Mormon, or maybe you relived a childhood memory with The Lion King? Hold up, we’re not done yet. Round off the night by visiting the one-and-only Empire State Building. Walk around to get a full 360 degree view of Brooklyn, Manhattan, New Jersey and the Bronx.

12.00am: We’re almost there! Roll back to Times Square and get a taste of “the city that never sleeps”! Divert your eyes upwards in search of a nearby roof top bar. Take a moment (you deserve it!) to have a beverage in the middle of the city.
